The project is part of a Masterplan that works on parallel areas of intervention based on the linear morphology of the site. The theater is part of the cultural ‘‘stripe’’, which experiments on the theme of addition and subtraction of volumes.

For this reason the old building is extended with a new triple addition, creating new vibrant energy for the area, in tension between the ancient and the modern. The new skin intensifies the existing volume and hides in a box the mechanism of the theatre.
